As Mum struggles to eat her pur茅ed food, son Andrew looks for solutions
Carolyn has had false teeth for decades. Recently she's managed with the upper plate only. Like many people of her generation (she was born in 1936), she lost her own teeth at a young age. She's always hated going to the dentist. Five years ago she resisted the best efforts of son Andrew to persuade her to have new dentures. She's losing weight and, as her face and mouth shrink, Carolyn's teeth are now too loose to cope even with her pur茅ed food. Andrew weighs up what to do next. Mum and Me: The Dementia Diary was originally broadcast on 大象传媒 Radio Leeds.
