Concerns about increase in problem gambling
How many times have you been sat watching the TV when an advert pops up for an online betting, bingo or lottery website?
But how quickly can they become hard to ignore?
There are concerns that gambling in now hooking too many women into becoming problem gamblers and it's exactly how Kelly Field from St Helens became addicted:
Kelly admitted that she even had suicidal thoughts because of the debts she racked up, before seeking help and thankfully turning her life around.
Now, a new study claims society doesn't take problem gambling seriously enough and that needs to change, and more people need to understand that gambling disorder is a recognised mental health condition.
