People in the UK who want to offer a room for Ukrainian refugees will be able to express their interest on a website, is being launched.
The government's offering households 350 pounds a month to take in a person or family for a minimum of six months.
An estimated 2.5 million refugees have now fled the conflict.
Many of them crossed the border into Poland, with large numbers staying there.
Rado Chmiel is a Polish translator, who's lived in Liverpool for 16 years, he travelled back to his home town near the border with Ukraine recently to help with the refugee crisis.
