Shane Warne - "I drank, I smoked, and I played a little cricket"

Stars from the world of music, film and sport - from Sir Elton John and Ed Sheeran to Kylie Minogue and Hugh Jackman - share their memories of the Australian legend.

When Shane Warne died in early March at the age of 52 it stunned Australians and cricket fans around the world. In a star-studded memorial service at his home arena - the Melbourne Cricket Ground - Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue and a host of former cricketers led the tributes in front of 50 thousand people. His father, brother and three children all gave moving speeches and the service ended with the unveiling of the Shane Warne Stand at the MCG.

Warne's dad, Keith, said the former Australia international packed more into his life "than most people would in two lifetimes". He added: "Shane said of himself, 'I smoked, I drank, and I played a little cricket. Mate, your mother and I can't imagine a life without you. You have been taken too soon and our hearts are broken."

But, among the tears, there were plenty of uplifting moments as well - with friends and family keen to celebrate a life well lived. For 5 Minutes On, 大象传媒 Cricket Commentator and Presenter, Eleanor Oldroyd, shares a few of the memorable moments from Shane Warne's send off.
