Conversion therapy: Non-binary writer from Dorset calling for total ban
The government is set to cancel its first international LGBT conference after more than 100 organisations said they were pulling out.
They've boycotted the 'Safe to be me' event over the government's decision not to ban conversion therapy for transgender people.
The decision has outraged some in the LGBTQ+ community - with Jamie Windust calling the news 'shocking'.
The government says the issue of transgender conversion therapy will be considered further, in what they describe as a "legally complex" area.
