The footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have been receiving support from around the world after they announced they had lost their baby son. The couple had previously said they were expecting twins. Their baby girl has survived, and they have said that this has given them ‘the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.’

Tatiana Arroyo, a mother in New Jersey, can relate to this story. She also lost one of her twin sons, baby Giovani, during childbirth. Carmine, her other baby boy, survived. She tells the story of her experience and life with Carmine since he was born.
