Women will only be able to get three months' worth of certain hormone replacement therapy products at a time - as the government works to sort the HRT supply issue out. The treatment is designed to relieve symptons of the menopause.
The government says the temporary measure will help ensure more women can access the medication amidst shortages.
Prescriptions for HRT in England have more than doubled since 2017.
