Topic Resources for KS1: Nurturing Nurses - a series of five films about the work of care professionals, hospitals and the NHS. Krish has hurt his ankle playing football and has to go to hospital by ambulance. He is taken for an X-Ray and discovers he has broken a bone. He is taken for an operation to set the bone and his leg is placed in a cast. Then he is admitted to the children's ward where he meets Sammy, a child who suffers from asthma.
