"Why do you hate someone who's trying to tell you the truth?"
Laws have been set out in the Queen's Speech that ensure the police have the tools and powers to manage disruptive protesters.
New criminal offences, including 'locking-on' to objects or buildings could carry a maximum penalty of six month's imprisonment. Obstructing major transport works - such as the HS2 project - could result in 12-months in prison.
Godfrey Meynell from Kirk Langley is part of Extinction Rebellion, he told Andy Twigge that protesting was necessary, despite the new restrictions.
