Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival. However, nearly 2 out of 3 infants are not exclusively breastfed for the recommended 6 months鈥攁 rate that has not improved in 2 decades, according to the World Health Organization. Governments across Africa a trying to pass laws that will encourage women to exclusively breastfeed. In this week鈥檚 episode, we look at the obstacles that women face when it comes to exclusive breastfeeding.
