What should be done to protect the rights of surrogate mothers?

In many African communities, bearing a child is still perceived as a major achievement for women. Surrogacy, an arrangement where a woman agrees to carry and give birth to a child on behalf of another person or couple, has become a common solution for many families experiencing fertility challenges. In this week鈥檚 episode, we look at what should be done to protect the rights of surrogate mothers.
