"Leaving a gap which simply can't be filled" Tributes paid to former Council Leader John Mutton
John Mutton, the former Lord Mayor and councillor for Binley and Willenhall since 1984, has died - he was 74.
He was Lord mayor in 1997/98, Deputy Leader and then Leader in 2004, before becoming Leader again in 2010 - a post he held for 3 years
A keen footballer, he played for the Sky Blues youth team between 1963 and 1965, and was instrumental in bringing the International Children's games to the city in 2005.
And current Leader of the City Council and friend George Duggins tells 大象传媒 CWR, "John's leaving a gap which simply can't be filled"
