Ukrainian family safe in Harwich
Natalia and her two daughters, including a nine-month-old baby, hid under their home in Mykolaiv as Russian bombs landed overhead.
Eventually they fled their home in Ukraine, walking miles in sub-zero temperatures and spending weeks in a transit camp in Moldova.
They'd been promised a safe place to stay with ´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex listener Colin Kendrick from Harwich. He'd offered to sponsor them, but he was caught up in his own battle of paperwork and delays.
Thankfully, the visas finally arrived for Natalia and her daughters and they are now living safely in Harwich with Colin - and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex's Sonia Watson has finally been out to meet them.
