Mother donates breastmilk to help with US baby formula shortage
In the US, the shortage of baby milk powder is linked to supply chain challenges and the closure of a major factory in February after a recall linked to bacteria. Natalie Rosander is a mother in Texas who is donating her own breast milk to help those struggling to get hold of baby formula. President Biden has now invoked the Defense Production Act to address the shortage and give the government more control over industrial production.
