Can Cannes bring zombie comedy back to life?
It's been well over a decade now since Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland were hits, but at the Cannes Film Festival the zombie comedy genre keeps lurching back from the grave. This year, Michel Hazanavicius, the director of the Oscar-winning silent melodrama The Artist, opened the festival with Final Cut (Coupez!). His movie is far more than a simple 'ZomCom', as Talking Movies reporter Nicholas Barber explains.
