Part of a plan to cut Coventry's air pollution levels is close to being scrapped
Coventry City Council has admitted a key part of their plans to reduce air pollution in the city will probably be scrapped.
The council had planned to put a new slip road off the ring road junction at Upper Hill Street, next to St Osburg's School.
That was part of the proposals to bring pollution levels down which stopped the government forcing a congestion charge or Clean Air Zone on Coventry.
Cancelling the plans has raised concerns the charge could be back on the table.
