‘Russian soldiers abducted my cousin’
Alisa Horshkova is one of many Ukrainians seeking news of loved ones who have reportedly been detained by Russian soldiers.
Having left her home city of Kherson, she tells Newsday her cousin was taken by Russian soldiers in March. She says: “For Russian soldiers, it doesn’t matter if you are a civilian, military, volunteer, activist, woman or man…every citizen…is in danger.”
