Danielle, a 38 year old transwoman and 50 year old Adrian, who identifies as non-binary and gay talk openly to each other about being part of the LGBTQ+ community.

This 'Pride Conversation' is part of a special series on 大象传媒 Radio Stoke to mark 50 years of the Pride movement in the UK.

Adrian came out as being gay in the 90s and later they came out as non-binary, as for Danielle, she only began to transition two years ago.

Both have known since they were 4 or 5 years old that they felt different to the children around them, but also felt unable to be who they really were. They share common ground on how that's shaped their lives since.

In their differences they find common ground and discuss how the Pride movement and online visibility can help unite and educate other people within the LGBTQ+ umbrella and beyond.
