Over one in three people either rent from private landlords or live in social housing. But how safe are their homes? Many young tenants are living in damp flats rife with mould and some residents can wait months for repairs. Kim Drummond investigates the poor living conditions which some tenants say are making them sick. And she meets the communities in Edinburgh who are fighting back.
