Family meets after nearly eighty years
Terry Harrison was brought up in the small Leicestershire village of Gaddesby.
He stood out in the village because his father was in fact a black GI whom his mother had a relationship with during WW2.
It wasn't uncommon for married women and American soldiers to get together during the war, but the tragedy was that most of the children born from those affairs never got to know their father or their heritage.
After a DNA test, Terry was finally able to locate his biological family and meet his relatives.
