In 2022, a national emergency was declared in the UK because of extreme heat, with temperatures in some regions forecast to reach more than 40C.
Now in 2023, a UK record has been broken for the number of consecutive September days reaching 30C.
While many are lucky enough to work in air-conditioned offices, there are tens of thousands who simply don't have that luxury. Whether it's working outside, wearing heavy uniforms, or working somewhere extra hot - conditions can definitely get uncomfortable.
