“Distraught and extremely humiliated”
An end-of-year trip to theme park Alton Towers turned into a day to forget for one 11-year-old.
Amelia had bone cancer when she was younger. She now wears a special prosthetic after having her leg amputated.
After queuing for hours to get on a ride, she says she was publicly taken off without any explanation.
Alton Towers says it’s deeply sorry for the distress caused and hopes to offer her a positive experience in the near future.
Amelia’s mum, Michelle, has been speaking to Twiggy.
