The last remaining bank in Belper is set to close. The Lloyds branch will shut in November due to low footfall and more people using internet banking.

Councillor Ben Bellamy from Belper has set up an online petition to save the bank from closure.

Lloyds Bank says 鈥渨e鈥檝e made the difficult decision to close the branch because customers are using it less often. In addition, the majority of customers are also using alternative ways to bank.鈥�
