Kate Clark met Michael Hardy from Ravenshill Flower Farm in Clifford's Mesne. He told her what it is like to be a British flower farmer.
British grown flowers are seeing a resurgence as customers want locally grown and sustainable floral delights for weddings, funerals and bouquets. Not only do they smell better than their imported counterparts but they last well in a vase and give a country garden feel.
