Anna Dorizo; "It took me many years to rebuild myself from sexual assault"
Seychelles, the island nation with less than a 100,000 people but where 1 in every 10 of them is said to have experienced rape. Anna Dorizo, a survivor of sexual assault, felt hopeless when the justice system did not punish her assailant, a familiar story for many Seychellois who have been sexually abused. But Annas is changing this narrative. She founded Eris, End Rape in Seychelles, an organization that creates awareness on sexual abuse and gives a voice to the victims.
