Key eastern towns retaken by Ukrainian forces
After a Ukrainian counter-offensive Russian forces have withdrawn from key eastern towns, Ukrainian officials say. This includes the towns Kupiansk and Izyum, vital eastern supply hubs for Russian forces.
Russia's defence ministry said its troops have retreated to allow them "to regroup". Valeriy Marchenko, the mayor of Izyum, speaks about the situation in the city and the mood of its people: "The mood is very good, we are very happy."
