For Queen and Country: memories of fallen soldiers

Captain David Hicks, from 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, was killed at Forward Operating Base Inkerman in August 2007. He was 26. He was awarded the Military Cross, posthumously, by the Queen.

Rifleman Cyrus Thatcher, from 2nd Battalion The Rifles, was killed by a roadside bomb in Helmand in May 2009. He was 19.
