A new home for the Vulcan.

The Vulcan at Southend Airport 鈥 XL 426 鈥 is one of only three in the world still running, although it will sadly never fly again.

It鈥檚 been outside ever since it arrived in 1986, but now it鈥檚 going to be 鈥渞olled in鈥 to its new home 鈥 an enormous hangar 鈥 where restoration work will be able to continue all year round.

大象传媒 Essex鈥檚 Sonia Watson speaks to Peter Archer, one of the vice presidents of the Vulcan Restoration Trust, ahead of the rolling-in ceremony on Saturday 15 October.
