The QEII bridge was closed in the early hours of Monday 17 October due to two Just Stop Oil protestors climbing onto the bridge. They climbed the cables which support the bridge and Essex police said it'll take a while to get to them.

Traffic has been diverted through the Dartford Tunnel which caused long travel delays.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex's Sonia Watson spoke to Dr Sean Lang, a senior lecturer in history at Anglia Ruskin University and Rob Hollyman, Director of Youngs Transport, with a depot based in Purfleet who was trying to get to work.
