It鈥檚 been a year since Alex and Susannah made the big move, and Alex, missing the buzz of city life, heads back to London to catch up with family and friends, leaving Susannah behind to look after the animals on the croft. However, it鈥檚 not long before Alex is craving the open space of the Outer Hebrides, so he heads back to his rural life, taking his city-girl mum with him for a visit - and it鈥檚 a bit of a culture shock for her! Alex finds a new way to get around the island, Susannah takes up teaching in Gaelic, and there is some good news on the house build.
