Mariama Diouf, the only female survivor of the Joola, Africa's Titanic
Twenty years ago today, the Joola, a Senegalese ferry capsized claiming more than 1,800 lives. Only 64 people survived. Mariama Diouf is the only female survivor and Aliou Cisse lost 11 members of his family in the disaster.
She was four months pregnant when tragedy struck.
