As Kenya and other Eastern African countries try to fight off the worst drought the region has seen in 40 years, there is another crisis that has sharply increased with food insecurity, Sexual and Gender Based Violence. The United Nations says 3.5 million children in Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia are out of school and at risk of abuse in these scarce resource areas. In this episode we investigate the correlation between drought and sexual and gender based violence.
