Avian flu halts pigeon racing

Measures are now being taken across Leicestershire to stop the spread of avian flu.

The UK is dealing with its largest ever outbreak, with more than 200 cases since last October.

All captive birds now have to be kept inside - including pigeons kept for racing.

Chris Sutton, from Markfield, is CEO of the Royal Pigeon Racing Association.
