Should cannabis be used for medicinal purposes?
A woman who has been repeatedly prosecuted for using cannabis to ease multiple sclerosis symptoms has told 大象传媒 Radio Cumbria that people in her position are being punished for trying to make themselves feel better.
Lezley Gibson from Carlisle is one of almost 1.8m people who have turned to illegally obtained cannabis for medical conditions, according to research by YouGov
Under government legislation cannabis is a Class B drug and people found in possession face up to five years in prison.
