E-scooter trial extended for 18 months
The government has extended a trial of electric scooters for another 18 months.
The Department for Transport (DfT) will continue gathering data on the technology in districts of Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Chelmsford and Colchester in Essex.
Essex County Council says in a statement that it is committed to the trials.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex speaks to Phil Suarez - he owns a flower shop in Colchester and frequently uses e-scooters, and Abbie-Louise Kirby from Colchester who was injured whilst using an e-scooter.
