Two people were killed after missiles landed near the Ukrainian border in Poland following a wave of Russian strikes across Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden has said it is "unlikely" that the missile was fired from Russia and Russia has denied it was to blame.

Poland said the missile was Russian-made, but US officials said initial findings indicated it was fired by Ukrainian air defences.

Michał Kobosko is vice president of Poland's opposition party Polska 2050. He says military experts had warned that this might happen but the country is shocked by the death of "the first Polish victims of this war".
