Alvechurch FA Cup: 'We need to concentrate on relegation battle'
FA Cup first-round heroes Alvechurch's run came to a luckless end as they were narrowly beaten by League One bottom side Forest Green Rovers.
Church old boy Josh March won Rovers their first-half lead thanks to a disputed penalty kick, converted by Connor Wickham, and then scrambled in the second-half winner.
But the seventh-tier non-league side did score the best goal of the game.
Jed Abbey's 49th-minute free-kick was a goal worthy of gracing Wembley itself - but they could not find another way through.
The hosts had to play with 10 men for the final 18 minutes, plus stoppage time, after the dismissal of Dom Bernard for a second bookable offence.
