At least one potential major drug will be lost every two years as medicinal plants are threatened with extinction due to climate change and overexploitation, according to a medical journal. A 2020 report by State of the World Plant and Fungi journal says disruptions caused by global emissions and deforestation are wiping out indigenous plant populations used in medicine. Herbalists and scientists are struggling to preserve this healing niche. The 大象传媒鈥檚 Brenda Cheruiyot reports.
