In August 2019, Harry Dunn was riding his motorbike outside a military base in Northamptonshire. The 19 year old was hit by a car and died. Fast forward to December 2022, and an American woman, Anne Sacoolas, has been sentenced after she admitted causing the teenager's death by careless driving. A judge at the Old Bailey handed down an eight-month prison sentence - but it's unlikely Mrs Sacoolas ever go to jail because it's been suspended for 12 months. She wasn't in court, and watched the proceedings via video link from the US. The process to get to this point has been far from straightforward. It's involved three years of diplomatic rows, legal wranglings, and at the heart of it, a bereaved family fighting for justice.
