Irish singer, songwriter and rapper Maverick Sabre was on tour in Birmingham at the O2 Arena last week.

Maverick released his debut album Lonely are the Brave which reached number two in the charts a decade ago but he says too many deals favour the record company.

He has now re-released his album as an independent artist because he made so little money the first time around.

Rakeem caught up with a chat with him about it..
