Belfast homeless charity preparing for the hard winter ahead
Homeless services in Northern Ireland have seen an increase in the number of people who have been hit by the cost-of-living crisis. Traditionally those seeking help have been people with addictions and poor mental health.
But recently the Welcome Organisation has started to support people who have fallen on hard times. It's little wonder really as it's widely acknowledged that we're all two pay cheques from homelessness. The Welcome organisation provides homeless support around the clock, every day of the year, including Christmas. As Helen Jones reports, the Belfast based charity is prepared for a long hard winter.
