Speaking with Sportsworld presenter Lee James, Smink explained how La Albiceleste's victory was 鈥榓 great Christmas present鈥� to a country which has faced socio-economic problems over recent years.
Lionel Messi finally achieved his World Cup dream as Argentina won their third crown on penalties in one of the greatest finals in the tournament's history.
Argentina won the shootout 4-2 against defending champions France.
