Iran hijab protests: 'We don't want this regime anymore'
Iranian chess official Shohreh Bayat fought her own battle with Iran's strict hijab rules in 2020, refusing to apologise for wearing her headscarf around her neck during a tournament. She later moved to the UK.
She believes 2022 has been a turning point for Iranian women following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, and subsequent protests in defiance at the country's "morality police".
Speaking to Pick of the World, Bayat said young Iranians "don't want this regime anymore".
