'I like to show the kids down the gym that anything's possible'
Women's boxing has seen a real increase in popularity and quality over the last few years.
This has been helped by the emergence of talented athletes who have created a platform to showcase their sporting ability.
Paige Murney is a boxer from Leicester who won a bronze medal in the 2017 European Union Championships. In 2019 Murney was selected to compete at the World Championships
She trains at the Unity Boxing Gym in Leicester and has recently completed her level 1 training. She tells Jo Bostock why she wants to help the next generation of women into the sport.
