'You don't feel valued by the employer' Former care worker quits to become a lorry driver

A former care worker who helped vulnerable adults in Birmingham says he got a 10 thousand pound pay rise overnight when he quit to become a lorry driver.

40 year old Dan White loved his job helping people find secure housing after a stay in hospital, but was forced to leave 6 years ago as he couldn't pay his bills.

Dan has been speaking to our Political Reporter Rob Mayor about the work he used to do in Birmingham and why he felt left with no option but to leave the care sector.
