Plans to build 'Plastics Barrier' in the River Soar
The environmental charity Uocean are campaigning to get a purpose-built barrier on the River Soar to prevent plastics flowing downstream to the sea.
It's after volunteers removed more than 4 hundred plastic bottles from the River Soar, along with old tyres, footballs, plastic bags and even teddy bears during a clean up at Water Mead park.
Chris Desai is the director of Uocean.
