Hillsborough Castle and its various collections, including extensive art works are getting a big clean.
It will take up to seven weeks to polish, vacuum, wax and wash twelve hundred items in ten rooms. Once the conservation clean is done and dusted the castle will open its doors to visitors in April. If you can't wait that long to get a look around the Royal residence, visitors can get an exclusive insight into the conservation process as part of the Northern Ireland Science Festival on the 22nd and 23 February. HELEN JONES donned her white gloves to get that sneak peak of the cleaning spree.
