'To have our own soap opera, it was massive!' Brummie show Crossroads subject of new ITV drama
Yes it's Crossroads of course - the soap set in a motel just outside Birmingham.
At its' peak it had FIFTEEN MILLION viewers!
And arguably it's biggest star was Noele Gordon - who played Meg Mortimer.
Well her life and her high profile sacking from Crossroads is the subject of new drama 'Nolly' - which drops on ITVx tonight.
Dr Who writer Russell T Davies is behind it - and Nolly is played by Helena Bonham Carter.
Lee Bannister from Tipton is possibly the BIGGEST Crossroads superfan of all time.
