Portland residents attempt to raise 拢100,000 to save much-loved club
Residents on Portland have set themselves the challenge of raising 拢100,000 in the hope of saving a much-loved youth and community centre.
The Islanders club in Underhill is run by the community, for the community, from a building which is almost 50 years old.
It's in desperate need of urgent repairs and a major refurbishment - without which there are fears the centre could close.
Our reporter Charlotte Foot has been along to the club to find out why it matters so much.
