Why is Sheffield's clean air zone so controversial?
Lucy Ashton explains the background to the scheme and how you can prepare for it.
The clean air zone comes into force in Sheffield city centre on 27 February and will not include private cars.
Drivers of taxis, vans, buses, coaches and lorries that do not meet Euro 6 Diesel or Euro 4 Petrol emission standards will be charged.
Smaller vehicles will be charged 拢10 a day and larger ones will pay 拢50.
The city is seemingly split on whether it's a good idea and some businesses owners have told the 大象传媒 it will be disastrous for them.
But councillors say it will rid the city of "old, polluting vehicles."
